If one of you lives in the Parish, has lived in the Parish for at least six months in the past, or you have some other strong connection to the Parish (known as a qualifying connection), you are entitled to be married at St Mary's. If you don't meet the criteria, we may be able to help you have the wedding of your dreams (although the paperwork is a bit different).

You don't have to be religious, or attend Church, and it usually isn't a problem if you are divorced.

You will meet with the Vicar prior to the date of the wedding, to make all the arrangements (Hymns, Readings etc), and a wedding rehearsal will be arranged, usually on the Thursday evening before the wedding. You do need to book in good time to allow for the Banns (notice of marriage) to be read out in Church, and we hope that you will come along at least once whilst the banns are being read.

The cost of a wedding at St Mary's is £554.00, including Organist, Publication of Banns and Marriage certificate.

If you are marrying elsewhere, and need to have Banns read at St Mary's. this will cost £44.00

If you would like to arrange a wedding, or the blessing of a marriage, or the renewal of wedding vows, then you should contact The Revd. Sheila O'Flaherty: revsheila@oflaherty.co.uk.
